Part of our ethos at e5 is to be open and share knowledge where possible. Gaining experience in other bakeries has and remains an important way for our teams to exchange ideas and strengthen ties with others who share similar values within and outside of our community. It’s important for us to offer that opportunity to other people here at e5. We do however receive a huge number of stage requests and it is impossible for us to accommodate all of them. We prioritise those who share our passion for sustainability, inclusivity, diversity (both environmentally and in a human way) and who show genuine curiosity. Hosting stages takes time and resources from our hard-working teams and sometimes the day-to-day means we cannot afford to spare this time. Please be understanding if we cannot accommodate you and don’t let it deter you on your baking/pastry/farming/coffee journey.

Assistant General manager at e5 Storehouse

We have an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team at our newest location: e5 Storehouse in Hackney Wick!

E5 Bakehouse is a place that champions sustainability, celebrates diversity, loves feeding the community, advocates for knowledge sharing and inspires craftsmanship.

As the Assistant General Manager of the e5 Storehouse, you'll be the driving force behind the concept that marries the rich cultural heritage of the V&A with the innovative spirit of e5 Bakehouse. As the key liaison, you'll be at the forefront of a partnership that's set to add something special to the cultural landscape of East London. Your ability to navigate compliance protocols while fostering creativity will be crucial in this role. e5 is a fun place to work, it’s also one of the busiest; you’ll be joining a team of fully focused, energetic, passionate and switched on people.
