As one of the first in London e5 Bakehouse has been teaching the science behind sourdough bread baking and inspiring many people from around the world. Join one of our experienced bakers in this fun evening class. The class is designed for beginners where you will be introduced to the basics of sourdough bread baking, able to understand how to make a sourdough starter and keep it alive! You will learn how to mix, knead and stretch the dough. We work with the finest ingredients and a wide range of toppings to make the baking part exciting! You’ll be baking your own pizza in our deck ovens and finally, you will be the judge of your hard work and sit down to enjoy the pizza you created over a drink with the other students.
DETAILS
The class costs £50 and includes learning all the different skills, pizza for dinner and a drink. Pizza classes take place on Wednesday evenings.

Class cancellations
Cancellation - We appreciate that there will be circumstances whereby you will need to change the date of your booking, please give us as much notice as possible in order for us to refund or transfer your booking.
- Bookings cancelled more than 14 days prior to the start of a course will be refunded or alternatively you may transfer to another date free of charge.
- Bookings cancelled within 14 days of the date of a course are non-refundable and non-transferable, the only exception being if we are able to refill your place. If we are able to do so you may transfer to another date.
- Refunds cannot be issued on any unattended classes without prior notice.
