Fermentation Intensive with Mara King


Let’s get a grasp on your gateway ferments before we move on to the hard stuff.  We’ll tackle kimchi, sauerkraut and small beers, then we’ll taste and discuss natto, koji and miso.


There will be practical DIY info, with time for workshopping and troubleshooting for the more seasoned enthusiast.


The class will be led by guest host Mara King, the co-founder of Boulder, Colorado based fermented foods brand Ozuké and co-host of Fermentation Revivalist Sandor Katz’s YouTube series People’s Republic of Fermentation.  Mara brings 20 years of professional cooking experience to the table.


Let’s geek out on good, weird, funky foods.

We’ll wrap up class with a rice and pickles snack.
